Three tips for disinfecting your phone.

We are all so hyper aware of germs and sanitizing our personal space now more than ever before.  One object that we frequently touch with our hands and face, on a daily basis, is our phones.

Here are 3 tips for disinfecting your phone.

  1. Turn it off- Turn your device completely off before cleaning. Remove your phone’s case and unplug all cables.
  2. Clean with- Use a 70 percent isopropyl alcohol wipe.  Make sure that the wipe you're using is safe for electronics, read those labels!  Avoid getting moisture in any opening. Never use aerosol sprays, compressed air, ammonia, bleach or abrasives.  Never apply alcohol directly to your phone as it could strip away the protective coating on your phone.
  3. Use earbuds- Minimize the hand → phone → face triangle by using earbuds or hands-free Bluetooth and wireless options.
